Infoscreen - the electronic city media

Coverage millionaire on expansion course

INFOSCREEN has more than 1,100 screens in and around public transport in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Eisenstadt (metro carriages and bus stations, trams and buses) and is therefore one of Austria's mass media with the greatest coverage. Just under 1.3 million people used INFOSCREEN to gain information on world affairs, politics, culture, sports and events. INFOSCREEN reached more than 50% of the population in the 14+ target group in Vienna alone.

Always on the search for greater coverage, INFOSCREEN has devised a hunting strategy that is as simple as it is efficient: the City Channel uses its tried and tested infotainment mix to dispel boredom wherever waiting times arise in the public transport system. The INFOSCREEN network went in to operation with three screens in Vienna's Stephansplatz metro station in 1998 and has since developed rapidly: the program is meanwhile available not only on 174 screens in and around Vienna (in stations, buses and CATs) but also in Graz, Linz Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Eisenstadt. Expansion will keep pace as INFOSCREEN continues to accompany the growth of the public transport system.
